The ministry of the Gospel Hall Trust at 116 Little Bourke Street began as a missionary initiative of Collins Street Baptist Church back in the 1800s among the poorest inhabitants of the city.
Since 1998 the Gospel Hall has operated as a non-profit, incorporated charity. The Gospel Hall property underwent a major redevelopment in 2004.
Today Gospel Hall Inc provides accommodation for young people at risk of homelessness, and facilitates education for young people, churches and corporate groups on issues of homelessness, drug use, harm minimisation/risk reduction, marginalisation, unemployment, empathy and community development through The Intersection Urban Learning.
The Intersection Urban Learning (formerly Urban Seed Education) is an activity of Gospel Hall Inc (formerly Gospel Hall Trust).
